With no tours since the pandemic hit, this garden brought much joy. Owners William Fletcher and Spring Courtright in Port Orchard, Washington, opened their garden to many of us garden-hungry people. Such a beautiful garden that I won’t be posting a lot about here except for this teaser. I am going back in the fall to photograph it for an article. The video shows some of the many birds that utilize the wildlife-friendly garden, plus a view of Clematis ‘Josephine’ climbing Metasequoia ‘Gold Rush’.
Everyone wore masks and kept a respectful six feet apart. I am grateful that I am vaccinated, but still need to be careful for other people’s sake.
