It’s time for some fun. It’s pansy planting time. Ok, Ok, how ho-hum-yawn, right? NO, not boring at all if you find some of the cooler kids on the block. And planting them in fall, you will have flowers now, a few splatter blooms in winter, but come spring, they will explode into loveliness. The two I am showing you now will be fragrant, so plant them close to your door.
The Frazzle Dazzle, or is it Frizzle Dizzle? Dazzle Frizzle? Whatevah! Oh yes, it’s a Frizzle Sizzle viola. Look for their frillyness at your local nursery.
A little harder to come by is ‘Tiger Eye,’ my favorite pansy of all. Anyway, plant them now and love them in fall and then again in spring.
I’m going this weekend to find me some frizzly frilly ones and hopefully some eye-of-the-tigers. You’re going to see them, smell them, and maybe even hear them … Rahr!
